Getting Started
Install it
Mending Wall is free software distributed under the GPLv3. Choose an option to install:
Install a package
Packages are provided for Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora and openSUSE.
Community-build packages are available for Arch Linux and NixOS.
Install the Flatpak
A Flatpak is available from Flathub.
You would usually install this by searching for it in the app store provided by your desktop, e.g. GNOME Software, KDE Discover, Bazaar.
Install from source
Build it yourself from the GitHub repository.
Start it
Launch Mending Wall from your desktop and enable Mend Themes and/or Tidy Menus. For best results, do this before you log in to a second desktop environment.
That’s it!
Once enabled, you can log out of one desktop environment and into another as much as you please, without breaking stuff.
